Let's see how durga coffee centre is..It's a place in pune everyone in pune knows about.
If u r new in pune and ask someone where to have a snack,
the answer u get is "chalo, let's go to durga coffee centre"
In the heart of the city.. this place is always crowded..
I personally believe,
if u stand there everyday,
u'll surely meet each and every person of pune there.
Let's see it's merits and demerits..
Merits:
1.Very cost effecient.
2.Easily accessable as it's in the heart of the city.
3.Great effeciency.(just stand in line and u'll get a coffee in no time..)
4.Snacks are yummy.
5.Nice crowd.
6.Open till midnight.
7.Surrounding shops are useful.
(eg. Paanwala, Cigarettewala, Pool table, Mobile servises,
Hair saloon, Suit Tailor, Fashion Accessories,
Restaurents, Chaat centre, Net cafe, Bus travel agent, Wine shop)
Demerits:
1.Parking can be a big problem.
(so much rush, no place to park. if u park it in 2nd line,
police vehicle may take u'r bike away. So someone has to sit on the bike meanwhile)
2.No variety in food.
(U dont get much to eat there othere than cold coffee/chocolate,
egg bhurji, misal, etc)
Overall Rating out of 5 would be 3
It's an awesome place to go to..
it surely is a hotspot!

But dude the quality of coffee has declined a lot nw....they hardly serve thick cold coffee now....but ya its a nice place to hang out n i enjoy hot coffee more den cold coffee der now...
i agree that the quality is going down and the prices are going up..
but can't help it.
i guess this is going on because of the extreme rush..
u can try out the new cold chocolate there..
i liked it, at least better than cold coffee..
