Golconda:

Golconda is an open air restuarant, surrounded by greenery. The area is spacious with ample and comfortable seating. The décor is rustic and the name of the restaurant was carefully selected from the famous Golconda fort of Hyderabad.

For genuine, mouthwatering Hyderabadi food, this restaurant is one of the best in Pune. With reasonable prices and delicious food, you will feel that it was one of your life's best decisions made by going to eat there. It is also located at A.B.C. Farms' food court in Koregaon Park. The menu includes favorite Hyderabadi dishes like Chicken Hyderabadi Masala and Kulcha. The food is wonderfully spiced and tasty and the service is very good.

Menu:

Golconda serves some of the best Hyderabadi cuisine in Pune. Hyderabadi food is spicy and uses lots of ginger, garlic, onions and lemon. Another regular ingredient is fresh or cooked coriander which gives Hyderabadi food its unique taste.

Some of the dishes include:

  • Kababs: Reshmi Kabab (minced meat with hyderabadi spices) and Kastoori Kabab (minced meat with special spices)
  • Chicken Dishes: Methi Chicken (chicken in a fenugreek gravy) and Bhuna Chicken (roast chicken cooked in hot spices)
  • Meat: Palak Gosht (meat in spinach gravy), Methi Kheema Pyaz (minced meat in fenugreek and onion gravy) and Full Steamed Raan (fried leg of lamb cooked in hot spices).
  • Rice Dishes: Mutton Dum Biryani (pieces of mutton, vegetables and rice pressure cooked)
  • Vegetarian: Tamata Methi (tomatoes and fenugreek in a thick, spicy gravy) and Jeera Aloo (potatoes cooked in Indian spices)
