Kapila Kathi Kabab: Probably one of the oldest and the best known of roll joints, Kapila Kathi Kabab offers only potato and chicken kebab fillings for their rolls, but it is a must have. There are choices of with egg and without egg as well as single filling and double filling. The place is crowded as hell...always, but it’s totally worth your time and effort.

Faaso’s...feast on the run: The menu of this fast food joint isn’t half as weird as it’s name. The joint has many outlets across the city, all serving a delectable selection of wraps, kebabs, biryanis and even parathas. Faaso rolls, in my opinion, are lighter. The fish tikka, mutton boti and chicken mayonnaise wraps are my favourite.

Top in Town: This little shop that is a special bengali food joint is in a hidden corner of Deccan and is known pretty much by word of mouth. Their regular egg, chicken and mutton rolls are good with generous fillings.

Calcutta Rolls: Calcutta rolls is a chai tapri cum snacks joint cum roll centre all rolled into one (pun intended). A favourite with the student community, the place is good if you’re looking for a filling yet pocket-friendly snack. They have single, double and even triple filling options. They even allow you to customise your own preferences.

(Olympia) Kareem’s: Of the same school as Kapila, Kareem’s - previously known as Olympia - is an old favourite of Puneites. On it’s menu again are wraps with succulent kebabs in them that come in the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Besides there is a huge menu of kebabs and other non-vegetarian delights
